Ms. Crumholt and Mrs. Dafoe are giving lessons on Internet Safety in the library this week. K-2nd grade students are learning the rules for staying safe online, and they are taking a “virtual field trip” to a kid-friendly website. 3rd-5th grade students are reviewing the importance of internet safety, discussing what cyberbullying is, and learning how to empathize with victims. They are also signing an Internet Safety Contract, which will be posted in the library for the remainder of the school year as a reminder to make smart choices while using the Internet. Please reinforce these important lessons at home. | |
